Marin Coast Trail: We discovered that the bike had been stolen on 27th December. I suspect it could have been stolen up to 1 month before this date as we hadn't been in the garage since around mid-November. A Saracen Element was also stolen at the same time - not so bothered about that one! Nothing else was taken. 27 December 2012

Decathlon Triban: The bike was locked up twice on a metal fence, the combination lock was through the front wheel onto the fence and a heavy duty lock through the frame onto the fence. It also had no seat as i keep that in my car when i lock it up. When i arrived at 6:45am on 30th May there was just half of the heavy duty lock left behind. Combination lock wasn't anywhere to be seen. 30 May 2012

Giant Escape 2: The last I saw my bike was Sunday afternoon after returning from the gym. I locked it up against a big metal pipe (that was not hampered with, nor could they have done so) and was locked through the frame and front wheel. The next time I checked my bike was Tuesday afternoon and it was missing. Nothing looked unusual around the area. Signs have been posted asking for it to be returned. 29 May 2012

Planet X Stealth Pro: Thief gained access to back garden. Back door smashed in and bike snatched off rack. 29 May 2012

Norco Charger 6.3: Bike was locked in a bike Shed at 6.30am on 28.05.2012 at around 15.45 i went for a break and to check on my bike. The bike was still there locked in the shed with no issues, i went back in at 16.00 and finished work at 17.00 to find that the bike had been stolen from the shed, the theif had tampered with the lock and managed to get the bike out of the shed, The bike was stolen at 16.08 and the theif ridden the bike off towards the petrol station 28 May 2012

Carrera banshee: Bike was chained to a pole in the back garden. Was visable before going to bed around midnight. Woke around 05:30 to let dog out into back garden - bike and lock were gone. 28 May 2012

Shogun 300: The Bike was located in my back 3 season porch. The bike was locked to itself as it was in my house. My roommate went to go walk the dog, and did not lock the door, when he came home the bike was gone. The lock was not at the scene so either the cut it and took it with them, or they carried the bike away, and if so, then hey must be local 28 May 2012

Scott Spark: Left my friend and I's bikes right by a walkway to the beach on the sidewalk. They were both attached by one combination lock. Came back a couple hours later and the bikes were gone. 28 May 2012

Trek 7.5 FX Disc: Bicycle stolen from bike rack at private business address. Not visible from main road. Lock cut and left at scene. Theft took place between 0730 and 1630. 28 May 2012

Gary Fisher Wahoo: The bike was taken, along with a Specialized Vita Sport, from a house that is used for a store room. The house, in Glasbury on Wye, is for sale so someone had probably snooped around and saw the bikes through the door window. Luckily I had taken my more valuable road bike out that evening for a ride and not put it back. The bikes where taken overnight. 28 May 2012

Specialized TriCross: I left my bike locked to the rack near Market and 3rd Street in San Francisco. Upon returning 2 hours later, around 7:45pm, my U lock was laying on the ground, busted, and my bike was gone. It looks like they hit the lock pretty hard as it's all bent out of shape. 28 May 2012

Giant Alia: The bike was locked with two locks, both were cut and left in the place. 10.30 a.m. in a crowdy Saturday morning. The police have the video recording of the thieves in action. 27 May 2012

Vitus 971: Bike was locked through front wheel to a metal fence. Front wheel was attached to bike with a security skewer but thieves undid security skewer and stole bike leaving behind undamaged lock and front wheel. This happened while I was sat outside the Dove pub on Broadway Market about 10 metres from the bike. I looked up and the bike was gone. There was a white van parked near my bike at one point which my bike may have been loaded into. 27 May 2012

Bianchi Imola: My bike was locked to a bike rack on Valencia. When i returned to my bike, my bike was gone as was the lock. 27 May 2012

Pearson Touche: I left bike in locked hallway while i popped to corner shop, thieves broke in and stole within 5 minutes as they were passing. i returned around 10 seconds after. 27 May 2012

Apollo Reckless: Was left on my ramp as I dropped my shopping off and was due to leave in a moment and was distracted 3 minutes I had run an errand - no bike. The street was deserted when I left the bike unattended. The bike was left on my ramp which faces the street (Brentvale Avenue), my bike was last seen being pedalled away by a man in brown jacket, green cloth-like rucksack, slim build and brown/black hair white european heading towards Perivale, along Grand Union canal. 26 May 2012
